Travel requirements for Malaysia

At LUMA, we strive to give access to the right information to our members.

We try to be as updated as possible but might encounter some delays. Please note this page is for informational purpose only. We strongly encourage you to double check with your respective embassy in your country of residence.

  1. Before Traveling to Malaysia

    – Malaysia has removed all COVID-19 requirements for entry, which means both vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers can travel to the country regardless of testing and vaccination status.

    – Protect your trip with Covid-19 travel insurance as recommended.

    – Download MySejahtera mobile app (not required)

  2. What happens if you test positive for Covid-19 in Malaysia?

    – Those who test positive for Covid-19 must undergo quarantine for 7 days and be released on the fourth day if tested negative on an RTK-Ag Covid-19 test. If you refuse to take the test on the fourth day, you must complete the quarantine for 7 days.
